Hi everyone!
We are a team of volunteers from Kremenchuk, Ukraine who are building buggies for the army of Ukraine.
Ukrainian troops are bravely fighting the war against russian invasion. The lack of car manufacturing in the country and active combat over the last months lead to a shortage of vehicles at the frontlines. Vehicles are crucial for day-to-day activities: delivering supplies, transporting wounded soldiers, and patrolling.
Our mission: establish lightweight buggy manufacturing in Central Ukraine to supply Ukrainian troops on the frontlines with reliable vehicles at fraction of the current costs.
Progress: three MK1 buggies in production, scheduled for delivery in September 2022.
Objective: deliver 3-5 buggies per month
We supply vehicles to The Ukrainian Army at no cost and are looking for financial support to keep the project afloat.

Project History
During the first months of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, in the atmosphere of chaos, a group of colleagues and I were evacuating people from Kharkiv and Kharkiv region in cooperation with a private bus company. We managed to evacuate more than 4 thousand people. Once the transport services returned to work, we returned to our regular jobs and activities. Though we had some funds raised from evacuation left and were looking for ideas on how to help the Ukrainian army and people in the struggle for defence and survival. One evening I was scrolling telegram channels and found a series of videos related to the combat buggies production in Ukraine. I realized it could be a great challenge and opportunity to help as volunteer groups widely supply the Ukrainian Army with vehicles and cars. I called my friend Max, who helped us a lot to adopt in Kremenchuk, where we evacuated families from Kharkiv. Max and his team established the volunteer centre "Lighthouse" which hosted thousands of emigrants from Eastern Ukraine and was looking for another project. Max engaged Yury, a paramedic instructor, and his friends Eugene and Alexey. This way, a developer, a digital artist, and a paramedic started Project Pike, the project of buggy from Kremenchuk. Pike is one of the city's symbols, and armour used to defend our land from invaders.
